About Me
Animals have always been my passion, and breeding is truly a labor of love for me. I’m 39 years old, and my journey with animals began at just 10 years old when I started helping a local exotic parrot breeder who built a state of the art aviary attached to her home. Home cooked, healthy treats were always given. Impeccable cleanliness and mental enrichment for the birds was top priority. That early experience led me to hand-feeding baby parrots and sparked a lifelong dedication to proper animal care.
By age 13, I was also working with a hobby breeder of Maltese dogs, where I learned how to probably care for and deliver puppies, provide: vaccines, microchips, sub q fluids, bottle feeding plus more, extensive dog grooming skills , and eventually being a show handler through the American Kennel Club. Eventually, I also worked as a veterinary clinic receptionist part time, further strengthening my commitment to true animal health and welfare.
At 15, I began riding horses weekly, and by 21, I was working with a U.S. certified show trainer. This eventually led me to train under a U.S. Olympic coach and work as a trainer and manager in high-end horse stables. All of which I afforded by true dedication and hard work, not from outsourced parental support. I cared for over 20 horses at a time, taught riding lessons, and spent my spare time training problem horses, the more challenging the case, the more motivated I was. As the horse was never the problem, and being dedicated to building trust and providing love made each horse blossom.
After several years, I took a step back from the equestrian and animal world by going to Medical Esthetics school. Eventually moving to Los Angeles working on many high end clients. In 2021, I returned to my home state of Massachusetts and founded Euphoric Sphynx, inspired by the deep bond I shared with my pet Sphynx cat, Athena. She was my heart, and I pour that same love, dedication, and care into all my kitties.
I consider myself an ethical breeder who continually reinvests in my cats and cattery, prioritizes extensive health testing, rich living environments, and feeding a high-quality raw diet from (insert Viva link) to support optimal development and gut health. Bio Health is very important to me and I PCR test every cat to ensure my cattery maintains free from viruses, bacteria and parasites. Resulting in the ability to provide healthy kittens in a consistent manner. I’m always happy to answer questions and believe in transparent, open communication. I’m an open book, and I’m available for FaceTime calls as well once an inquiry has been received.
